Private coaching focused on strength, body composition, and long-term health.

Simple systems. Clear expectations.

Consistent execution.

  • Better Atlas is a private coaching practice led by James Alcock.

Coaching is delivered 1:1 and focuses on strength training, nutrition structure, recovery, and lifestyle habits that support long-term health.

This is not group fitness or generic programming. Every client works from a clear plan with direct accountability.

  • Coaching is built around four clear pillars:
Training: Structured, compound-focused strength training. Every client is set up in a coaching workout app where sessions are programmed in advance, tracked, and progressed over time using clear progressive overload.

Assessment & Tracking: Every client starts with an initial assessment. For those who want deeper insight, monthly InBody scans are used to track fat loss and muscle gain objectively, and training plans are adjusted based on real data.

Nutrition: A structured nutrition system, not generic advice. Calorie targets are set based on training demand. Protein intake is prioritised first to hit daily targets, fats are set to support hormonal function and health, and carbohydrates are adjusted around training to support performance and recovery.

Accountability: Ongoing coaching, workout and nutrition tracking, regular check-ins, and continuous plan adjustments delivered by an Australian-qualified health professional. Optional add-ons include higher-touch nutrition coaching and custom monthly programming for faster, more consistent results.

Every client follows a clear plan.

Training is logged, nutrition is structured, progress is measured, and adjustments are made based on real outcomes
